Chapter 4

Wrapped in a duvet, Mohana lay asleep in Rohith's arms, both of them naked under the covers. The room was quiet, warm, filled with the soft hum of the night.

Rohith stared at the ceiling, one hand gently caressing Mohana's hair. Sensing his touch, Mohana stirred slightly and slowly opened her eyes. There was peace in them. Her gaze shifted to him as she raised her head slightly.

He smiled gently at her.

She smiled back and snuggled into his chest, wrapping her arms around him. Rohith held her tighter, pressing her body closer to his.

"What time is it?" she mumbled into his embrace.

"It's 9:30," he said softly, still running his fingers through her hair.

"What! 9:30? I have to go home-I can't stay!" she gasped, trying to sit up quickly. But the sudden movement brought a sharp pain between her legs. She winced, trembling slightly.

"Mohana!" Rohith quickly sat up and steadied her, wrapping his arms around her supportively.

"Why are you rushing? There's no need to panic," he said calmly.

"No, Rohith... I need to go. What if my father comes looking for me?" she said, clearly anxious.

Rohith raised an eyebrow. "Do you really think your father is worried about you?"

She paused. "Maybe not... but what will I say in the morning? And the neighbours... they'll give me those looks!"

He pulled her back into his arms. "I don't care. You're staying here. That's it."

"But-"

"Shut up," he said, playfully stern.

"Mmmm," she pouted.

He picked her up and carried her to the bathroom. Placing her gently near the shower, he said, "Freshen up. I'll get dinner ready. And if you're feeling sore or anything, let me know. I'll help."

"I'm fine. You go," she replied, a bit shy.

"Your clothes? Until I get them back, my shirt will have to do," he said with a smirk.

"Um... okay," she blushed.

"Don't be shy, baby. I've already seen everything," he teased, before leaving the bathroom.

He laid out his shirt and a pair of shorts on the bed, then headed to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

After her shower, Mohana slipped into his shirt and shorts. She stepped out to find the dining table already set.

They had dinner together, smiling and talking softly between bites.

"Let's go to bed," he said once they finished.

"Hm... I'll go home tomorrow after finishing housework. Then I'll come again the day after," she offered.

"Huh... okay," he replied, clearly disappointed.

Hearing the tone in his voice, she slipped her arms around his waist. "Or should I come in the evening too?" she asked teasingly.

"Of course! Yes come in the evening too!" he replied instantly, excitement lighting up his face.

"Haha, you're so cute, Rohith sir," she giggled.

"And you're so pretty, my baby," he whispered adoringly.

Blushing, she smiled and said, "Let's sleep. I'm tired."

"Good night, baby," he said, pulling her close again.

"Good night," she murmured, and they fell asleep in each other's warmth.

---

Next day

Mohana got ready and left for college. Rohith left for work too.

Evening - 5 PM

Rohith returned home early and began cooking dinner for both of them. Chapati, paneer, and dahi tadka.

Soon, Mohana arrived.

"Hi! What are you cooking?" she asked, peeking curiously into the kitchen.

"Chapati, paneer, and dahi tadka," he replied.

"Umm! That's my favourite!" she said happily.

"Then you'll love it. But... only if I get something in return," he teased, pulling her gently by the waist.

"What do you want?" she asked shyly.

"The same thing we did last night," he whispered huskily into her ear.

"Tch... You're impossible. Go! Let me do some work," she tried slipping out of his hold.

"Fine. I'll clean the kitchen," he said, trying to bargain.

"No! I'll do it," she insisted.

"Get out, Mohana," he said firmly but playfully.

"Fine..." she huffed and left, starting with the household chores.

A while later, Rohith walked out after finishing up in the kitchen. He spotted Mohana cleaning the table, her body bent over-top riding up, her curves on full display.

Unable to resist, he walked up behind her and grabbed her ass with both hands, squeezing them hardly.

"Rohith!" she gasped, trying to turn.

He leaned closer, voice deep. "You really have the most irresistible ass..."

Before she could respond, he bent her forward again pressing himself against her from behind.

"Rohith...," she whispered breathlessly, one hand bracing against the table, the other reaching back to stop him.

He caught her wrist gently, placing a soft kiss on her shoulder, his voice low and teasing near her ear.

"You shouldn't bend like that in front of me, baby. I lose control."

She turned her face slightly to look at him. Her cheeks flushed, eyes heavy with a mix of shyness and anticipation.

"I was just cleaning..."

"And now you're mine," he said possessively, his hands trailing under the kurti she wore.

"Rohith... not now," she mumbled, though her voice was soft and unsure.

He paused, reading her expression. "Too tired?" he asked, brushing a finger gently down her back.

She turned around to face him completely and slipped her arms around his neck. "No... I just wanted to finish the work first."

He cupped her face. "Leave the work. I want you."

She looked into his eyes for a moment and nodded, almost shyly.

Without another word, he picked her up effortlessly and carried her to the bedroom. He placed her gently on the bed, the dim light casting soft shadows over her face.

He climbed onto the bed, hovering over her. "You're so beautiful," he whispered, kissing her forehead, then trailing kisses down to her lips.

Their mouths met-soft, slow, deep. She held his face as he kissed her, as if afraid he'd disappear.

The kiss turned more passionate, more desperate. He slid his hand up under the kurti feeling her warm skin beneath. She arched into his touch.

"Rohith..." she breathed out.

"Yes, baby?" he whispered between kisses on her neck.

"I like this... being with you... like this," she confessed softly.

He looked into her eyes. "You don't know what you do to me, Mohana."

She smiled, biting her lip as he trailed kisses lower, worshipping every inch of her.

That night, once again, they made love-slow, intense, and full of unspoken emotion.

Later That Night

Wrapped in each other's arms, Mohana rested her head on his chest.

"You smell like me now," he murmured into her hair.

"Good... I want to," she replied sleepily.

He kissed her forehead. "You better sleep, baby. Tomorrow you'll be tired again."

"I don't care... I'll come again tomorrow," she said, eyes closed but lips curved in a smile.

He chuckled. "Deal."

They fell asleep like that-entangled, warm, and perfectly at peace.

The Next Morning

The soft rays of early sunlight slipped through the curtains, casting a golden hue across the bedroom. Mohana stirred first, blinking at the clock.

7:10 AM.

She let out a sigh and looked up at Rohith, still sleeping soundly, one arm loosely draped around her waist.

A sleepy smile touched her lips. She brushed a strand of hair off his forehead and whispered,

"Rohith... wake up."

He groaned lightly and pulled her closer. "Five more minutes..."

She laughed softly. "If I don't leave now, I won't reach college on time."

He opened his eyes halfway. "Do you really have to go?" he asked, voice still heavy with sleep.

"Yes," she said, slipping out of his arms. "And you have office too."

He rolled onto his back with a dramatic sigh. "Fine. But only if you promise to come again today."

"I will," she smiled, standing by the edge of the bed. His oversized shirt hung loosely around her thighs.

"God, you're too tempting. I swear I won't survive if you walk around like that," he said, eyeing her up and down.

Blushing, she turned quickly and headed to the bathroom. "Control yourself, sir!"

He chuckled, tossing the blanket over his head.

Later That night - Mohana's House

As Mohana returned home, the atmosphere felt... tense.

Her father sat on the porch. His eyes watched her carefully.

"You're late," he said, without warmth.

"Extra class, college project work," she replied, avoiding eye contact.

"Every day now? You leave early, come back late. Neighbours are already talking," he said sharply.

Mohana froze. "I told you-I've got a lot going on."

He stood up. "Don't think I don't know what you're doing."

She clenched her fists. "I'm not a child. I know what I'm doing.

"You better. Because I won't let you ruin my name," he snapped, and walked inside.

Mohana stood there, her chest rising and falling. Her heart ached-half guilt, half anger.

---

Meanwhile - Rohith's house

Rohith kept checking his phone.

No call. No text.

He walked to the window, staring down at the street, hoping to see her familiar figure.

"Where are you, baby..." he muttered, concern slowly creeping in.

---

Back in Mohana's Room

She sat on her bed, staring at her phone. So many messages typed and erased.

Her fingers hovered over his name.

She wanted to tell him everything-her father's words, her fear, her helplessness.

But instead, she locked her phone and curled up on her bed, tears slipping silently onto the pillow.

~~~~~~
Next day
Mohana stood in front of the mirror, her heart pounding with nerves and excitement. She wore a soft pastel saree-simple, elegant, and beautiful. A pair of delicate jhumkas dangled from her ears. Her kajal-lined eyes sparkled, lips touched with a soft rose tint. Her hair was loosely braided, strands falling gently over her shoulder.
She took a deep breath, staring at her reflection.
"Today... I'll tell him," she whispered to herself. "I'll tell Rohith I love him."
Her trembling hands reached for the small handwritten note she kept in her bag-words she had rewritten a hundred times. She had prepared everything rehearsed her words in her mind, Words she hoped would change everything between them.
She went his house
----------
With every step toward his house, her heart pounded harder.
Finally, she reached his door, clutching the small gift and letter she had prepared for him.
But just as she was about to knock-she stopped.
She heard Rohith's voice from inside. He was on a phone call. At first, her lips curled into a smile, hearing the familiar tone of his voice.
But then... what he said next shattered her.
"God!! Who the f*** loves her? She's just a maid!" he said, laughing.
Her eyes widened. Her smile faded instantly.
Her heart cracked.
She stood frozen outside the door, unable to move, unable to breathe.
His laughter echoed in her ears like cruel thunder.
"She acts like she's in love or something. So dumb. I was just having some fun, man."
Her hands trembled. The small gift she held slipped from her fingers and fell to the
ground. The letter she had folded with so much care fluttered beside it.
Her heart was hurting-like something sharp was pressing through her chest, again and again.
She turned slowly, tears welling up in her eyes, lips trembling.
